    What a fabulous quote! many thanks for sharing it and all your photos. I really really really enjoyed the photos of the london processional. what a total hoot it must have been. I wonder though - does one wave with the royal wave when waving to the Queen? Does the crowd applaud as the coach passes? Inquiring minds and all that.

    I think my waves to the royals were indeed quite royal. It's all in the wrist, Baby!
    Yes, some people applaud, some call out, sometimes there's a remarkable silence as the horses clop by. Lots of people are so busy with their video cameras that they miss the whole dang thing. It was really fun.
